Governor's Garden
The work continues at the garden. If you would like to volunteer please let the Secretary know. There will be a launch of the community garden in May so watch this space for more details.
Fairfield Day Centre
Fairfield Day Centre: - the redevelopment of the garden/decking area area at the Fairfield Day centre in Fortuneswell. Over £4,000 has been raised and we are very grateful for the help given by Paul Dean Associates, Lynch Lane Garden Centre, DJ Property, Value House, Portland Rotary and Weymouth Lions Club. The garden will also have bird boxes and feeders so the centre users will be able to sit out and watch the birds.
Tea Dance
The dances continue to be successful and we now have Tea dances twice monthly on a Monday afternoon at St George’s Centre in Reforne from 2.00pm – 4.00pm. An opportunity to make new friends, have a dance or just sit and chat whilst enjoying delicious homemade cakes with a cuppa. It costs £2.00. All are welcome.
We are grateful to Laming and Sons for a donation to enable the extra dances to take place.
